Lights In The Heights

We attended Kyle's annual festivities in the Heights. Clark, Cousin Eddie and the Security Guard from Wally World (what's his name?) was there, as always. And yes, he puts Lights on his roof! It's always great to see all of my pals from Targa and I am glad my whole family joins us every year. The double ice shot block is always a hit!

Houston...We have a problem - It's Snowing!

The Santa Experience

We went to The Santa Experience at the Outlet Mall in Fairfield. Much fun was shared by all. The kiddos wrote letters to Santa that they mailed in a BIG mailbox that went to the North Pole. When they opened the flap to the mailbox, cold air blew out with fake snow. Too cool! Next the kiddos made a Christmas craft to take home (foamy picture frame). Then they took pics with Santa. Maybe one day I will scan the photo and share. =) After the pics, Santa went over their lists and chatted with each child individually. Next, they decorated sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles. And last but not least...played in fake snow! Too much fun!!!

Lauren's present

Haleigh's surprise when opening Lauren's Christmas present. Couldn't resist sharing this expression.

Haleigh got a Big Girl Haircut

I kept prepping her what as what was to come...I didn't want her to freak out on me when she noticed they were chopping off her hair. So I kept reminding her days before her appointment that she would be getting it cut SHORT. And her response each time was "like Ansley? like Lauren? like Addison? Like Daddy?" It was pretty funny. All went well. We had a Style Coordinator at Visible Changes cut it. It was cut in a bob with the back stacked and and the front angled. It looks really cute and she really likes it! The stylist asked if I was going to round brush it dry and flat iron it?!?! I was like ummm...I don't even do that to my hair! We do round brush it dry, but not everyday...otherwise it just doesn't dry naturaly right.

Book Club - December

We celebrated Book Club at Chuy's...We discussed this month's book, which was The Christmas Box (a cute short story Xmas book). We had an ornament exchange...and celebrated Pam and Pattie's 40th birthday. Can you believe they are twins? Happy Birthday girls!

WBL Girls Night - December

Here are some of the girls from my hood. Me, Marlene, Sharon, Tracye, Laura, Tracy. This year we celebrated with a small gift card exchange at Alicia's. Yummy Mexian food and margaritas. We had fun!

Happy Holidays

From our family to yours! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! This is this year's photo for our Christmas cards. We took it at Eddie's cousin's house in Kansas. I have officially been a slacker in the blogging department. One of my New Year's resolutions is to do better! I will be posting what we've been up to since Thanksgiving.

...And we got snow!

Turkey Dinner

Oh Mommy, my tummy is full! Addison enjoyed turkey, ham and mashed potatoes while her sister decided to skip turkey dinner all together and take a nap instead~

On the Farm

Hey Daddy, check out how big this tractor tire is!

Daddy and Haleigh skipped (and yes they sang the song!) to one of the oil wells on the McNinch Farm.

My 2 Polka Dotted Cuties

McNinch Rock

As you can tell, Haleigh was so excited to take this picture! She wasn't quite as excited as we were about a rock with McNinch engraved in it!

Wind Farm

This was really cool! I was pretty impressed as I had never seen a wind farm. I kept taking phoos of the same structure over and over again as there were miles and miles of windmills! It was crazy, but I couldn't stop!

What a Turkey!

We have lots of pics to post from our trip to Kansas for Thanksgiving...

Visit to Santa

We visited Santa yesterday. Haleigh told him she wanted a castle for Christmas. She loved him!
