Happy Thanksgiving!

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We are so thankful to have our friends and family in our lives. I have been both blessed and thankful to have been able to take a week off and spend this time with my girls. We enjoy sharing our lives with you via this blog and hope you enjoy it too. We hope everyone is safe during their holiday travels. Happy Turkey Day!

Visit to Santa

We visited Santa yesterday. Haleigh told him she wanted a castle for Christmas. She loved him!

Amazing!

On our way to visit Grandma and Grandpa, we saw truly the most amazing thing! We were just outside of Dallas and in plain view, a shooting star flew across the freeway! It was so up close and personal, unlike the ones you've seen way up in the sky. We could actually see the sparks flying off of it. It was so low, I wondered if it was going to extinguish before it hit the ground. SO AMAZING! We were just left in awe! Once we got to Kansas, we read about the meteor in Canada, could it have been a fragment?

Family Photo

I previously blogged about her family photo...finally got it scanned and here it is!

PixiePop Debut!

Finally! Our first craft show was scheduled for the weekend of Hurricane Ike, after 2 cancellations, we were wondering if this was meant to be! But finally we got our chance to show off our "goods". After lots of late nights AFTER getting all of the kids to bed - we did it! Our husbands were beginning to wonder if our "R&D" funds were ever going to run out! LOL! We had a good time and lots of positive feedback!

Happy Halloween

Haleigh really enjoyed Halloween this year...she was a Halloween Fairy. Addison was Minnie Mouse. I made both of their costumes. Both girls were adorable. Haleigh loved saying Trick or Treat and THANK YOU! I thought she was going to be shy about it all, but she wasn't - she had a BLAST!

Happy 65th Birthday to PA!

We surprised Pa for his birthday! The girls and I packed up the truck and made a road trip with Will, Mindy and cousins Ethan Peyton. We had a great time as you can tell!

Haleigh thought it was SO funny that Pa was wearing her fishing hat!

Pa taught Haleigh to catch her very first fish on her Barbie fishing pole.
